WHAT IS THAT STUFF?

I went out to rearrange my fences this morning so the goats would have more grass and was greeted by a sight I hoped to not see for some time.

Yes kids, that is snow falling not dirt on the lens. Looks like winter might get here early.

Thank you for making my blog one of your Blotanical favourite and for introducing me to your blog which I shall follow. I'm interested in your goat-keeping as I used to keep goats some years ago - I don't envy you the weather though. Snow, already! Good luck!

YIKES!! SNOW?!?!? again... YIKES!! It's sunny and cool here today but nothing with snow... makes us glad we're living in the Pacific Northwest! Enjoy!

Yuck! I noticed a few flakes in Canal last night when I went out to gather up the fall decorations that were about to blow away...

I'm echoing the "YIKES!" comment. I've spent three days here at home, cleaning up for a baby shower my wife threw on Saturday, and 'winterizing' our place. But tonight when I got home I immediately remembered the top item on last week's mental list that hadn't gotten done during the three days - replace the gaskets on the woodstove. Dang! Now we're looking at four nights in the low 30s and the 'glue' is supposed to harden for 24 hours, so I have to wait at least until the weekend. I hate a middle-age memory to go with this middle-age body.

Being from the rainy side of Washington I think I would either faint if I had seen snow in October or go out and dance in it, lol! We LOVE snow around here because we get it so rarely. Enjoy!
