Okra Ornaments Update: Thank you Southern Sister!

Okra Ornaments were a HIT!  Thank you Southern Sister!

The ornaments we brought to the craft show were not an original Roberts Roost idea.  My Southern Sister had shared this idea last Christmas and we loved it so much that we just had to try it.  Of course, we put our own twist on it.  The sparkly okra icicles and Santa faces made a lot of people laugh. The shoppers were amazed that the ornaments were REAL.

Here’s what we did:

We grew okra. (earlier blog)

We dried the seed pods.

We primed, painted, and prettied them up.
