Spring Rain

The spring peepers greeted me when I went out to do the chores this morning. The air was warm and heavy, rain was on it's way. The red winged black birds and the blue birds have returned, it must be spring. The rain started about 8 am and kept up most of the day. Thursdays are our going to town day. The kids have Home School Gym Class, we go to the library, do what ever shopping we need to do, and deliver eggs to West Lafayette. We sold 20 dozen eggs today. That's 5 dozen more than last week, so the girls must have been a bit more productive in the warmer weather. By the time we got back from town there was just enough time to put things away and get Julia to Girl Scouts. Thursdays are not my most productive farm days.

The rains have ended now, the peepers are back out and we are settling in for a warm humid spring evening.
