I met the god of remodeling today, so I have to assume that Charles knows what he is talking about. He (the god, not Charles), after getting my attention by tripping me up and dropping things on me multiple times (I'm a bit dense some times), required a blood sacrifice to ensure the success of the remodel I was doing. Looking back he has gotten blood every time we have remodeled a room, I just wasn't always conscious of it. Apparently gods evolve as time goes on. The sacrificial tool off choice was a hammer-stapler rather than a bronze knife. The effect was the same, copious amounts of blood, curses, and pain. After which, things progressed nicely.

So, after the proper sacrifices, we are closer to having a third bedroom. That is a good thing. It means that C and I can move out of the family room after almost three years. I think we will all be happier when that happens (I know I will!!!!).
Now you know some of what I have done with my end of summer "vacation". There was some fun in there too, but that is for a different post.

Hi Robert,
I feel your pain. We remodeled our entire home and it took 4 1/2 years. Oh and by the way I am Cilantro too.~~Dee
Ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch!!! I'm afraid of staple guns, nail guns, all those damned guns---and now hammer guns!!! (Did I say OUCH?!!!) Glad you survived the incident and are well on your way to building in a little privacy...
How true! It's just not a project until somebody (usually me) bleeds. By the time I'm done with all of this I'll have more scars than Travis McGee.
As for hammer-staplers: I thought those were banned by the Geneva Convention.
Thanks for the update.
Neat job! Looking good. Now on to the next chapter of this saga.
