May already and the garden isn't planted yet.

Spring has been slow this year.  It's been cold and wet.  The only thing that seems to be thriving at the Roost is the grass (and its too wet to cut, so it is getting out of control.)

New here are pigs.  We got two 80 pounders from some friends.  They have quickly adjusted from their confinement pig life to our freer pasture pig approach.  They love rooting around in the dirt, rolling in the mud, and chasing the chickens that happen to wander into their space.  They seem to be a good fit right now.  We'll see if we feel the same in a few months when they are big, toothy, 250 pounders and we need to get them into the truck.  Should be fun.
