Came home from cub scouts yesterday afternoon and this is what we found in every room of the house. The following pictures are from our bedroom just before I started sucking them up with the vacuum. Looks like a restful night is not in the cards.

Don't you just love ladybugs in the fall.

I had an invasion like that years ago. Now that our doors and windows have all been replaced they have a hard time finding a way in. Plus our trim is no longer white (they like light colors) so they aren't as attracted to our house. Thank goodness. I always feel bad about vacuuming up lady bugs.
We have them on the outside, but not really in the interior. I never bothered to learn whether these are the 'good' native ladybugs or the 'neutral' Asian imports.
Aaaahhhh!!! Too bad they're not in my greenhouse instead of all over your house! But on the bright side, at least they're not stinkbugs. Then again, I have friends who assure me those European ladybugs bite...
Oops, I meant Asian. Apologies to Europe!
Wow...we have never had them in the house like that, just on the outside walls! Kim
